Daily budget calculator until payday
Calculate a daily spending limit until payday after bills and planned savings. Use any currency; enter every amount in the same currency.
Calculate your daily limit
Use the same currency for every amount. Nothing is pre-filled, and the result updates as you type.
Your result
Enter the money you have and the days remaining to see your daily limit.
The calculator does not save or send your numbers anywhere.
The formula
Daily limit = (money available − bills still due − savings) ÷ days remaining
If bills and savings are larger than the money you have, the daily limit is zero and the calculator shows the shortfall instead of a negative number. Amounts are rounded down to two decimal places so you do not go over your plan.
Illustrative example only (not a recommendation): enter 3,000 in your chosen currency, 1,200 of bills due, 300 to save and 10 days left: (3,000 − 1,200 − 300) ÷ 10 = 150 per day in that same currency.
Sticking to the limit
- Record each purchase as it happens so you know what is left today.
- If you spend less than the limit, recalculating spreads the extra across the remaining days.
- Recalculate whenever new income arrives or a new bill appears.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the calculator with any currency?
Yes. Enter every amount in the same currency. The calculator does not convert currencies; it divides the amounts you enter and shows the result in that same currency.
How is the daily spending limit calculated?
Take the money you have until your next payday, subtract bills and essential costs that are still due and any amount you want to save, then divide what is left by the number of days remaining.
What if the result is zero?
A zero limit means your bills and savings already use all the money you have. The calculator shows the shortfall so you can lower the savings amount, delay a non-essential cost or look for extra income.
Should I count today as a day remaining?
Count today if you still plan to spend today. Using whole days keeps the limit easy to follow.
Does the calculator save my numbers?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing is stored or sent to Pocketjr. Refreshing the page clears it.
